Version & basis
Every check has a provenance
A standard where every line claims a source is a standard nobody should trust. This page states which lines trace to a real document, and which do not yet.
01Version log
| Version | Date | Change |
|---|---|---|
| v1.0 | 2026-10-18 | First public release. Four gates, twelve checks, one evidence law, three open questions. Each check carries a basis grade (A 8 / B 3 / C 1). English edition published the same day as the Chinese original; identical numbering. |
| v0.9 | 2026-10-18 | Internal draft, not public. Checks only, no definitions, no roles, no record sheet. Read once on a test domain. |
02Basis grade: what each label means
The grades are published so the document can be attacked in the right place.
| Grade | Meaning | Distribution in v1.0 |
|---|---|---|
| A | The claim traces to a specific line in a real sample document. | 8 checks: Z-01, Z-02, Z-03, A-03, B-01, B-02, C-01, C-02 |
| B | Indirect: the cause is documented, the corrected practice is not. | 3 checks: A-01, A-02, B-03 |
| C | No sample support yet. Kept because the cost of the failure exceeds the cost of the check. | 1 check: C-03 |
03The four sample documents
All de-identified. No customer, factory, brand or supplier is named anywhere on this site.
| Document type | What it proved | Which checks it supports |
|---|---|---|
| Plant audit report (scored, six sections) | Capability baseline and the scoring method; whether stop-shipment authority is scored at all | Z-01, Z-02, Q3 |
| Corrective-action problem list | The gap list: which failures recur across lines | A-01, A-02, B-02, C-01 |
| Controlled inspection standard (form) | What a decidable acceptance basis physically looks like | Z-03, A-03, evidence law |
| Third-party inspection photo record | What a photo proves, and what it does not (no date, no lot) | Evidence law, B-01, C-02 |
04The twelve, with grades
| No. | Gate | Check | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Z-01 | Z | Is the last audit still valid for this order? | A |
| Z-02 | Z | Who holds the written right to stop? | A |
| Z-03 | Z | Is the acceptance basis a controlled document? | A |
| A-01 | A | Is the ship date calculated, or promised? | B |
| A-02 | A | Have the requirements collapsed into one document? | B |
| A-03 | A | Does the acceptance basis come from one source? | A |
| B-01 | B | Was the first article approved before mass production? | A |
| B-02 | B | Is the station holding this order's work instruction? | A |
| B-03 | B | Is every change traceable? | B |
| C-01 | C | Does the release report name its basis? | A |
| C-02 | C | Do quantity and lot number agree in three places? | A |
| C-03 | C | Are the documents and the goods the same lot? | C |
A grade is a statement about evidence, not about importance. C-03 stays because a documentation mismatch costs more than the check does.
05What was deliberately left out
The exclusion list is part of the design, not an omission.
| Not included | Why |
|---|---|
| Brand and factory names | The samples are real; naming them would end the flow of samples. De-identification is the price of being allowed to publish at all. |
| Prices, MOQ, lead-time benchmarks | These belong to a commercial agreement, not to a judgement. Putting them in a public standard turns it into a price list. |
| Legal and customs advice | Outside the scope, and a liability this document should not carry. |
| A single overall score | A percentage hides which check failed. The verdict of one check does not average with another's. |
